MASUWE SEZ · VICTORIA FALLS
The Masuwe
Special Economic Zone.
A gazetted, government-backed zone on the edge of the Zambezi basin, bordering Victoria Falls National Park and the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area.
WHAT THE ZONE IS
A designated zone for Victoria Falls’ next chapter.
The Masuwe Special Economic Zone is a gazetted, government-backed development area outside Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. It borders Victoria Falls National Park and the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area — at 520,000 square kilometres, the largest transfrontier conservation area in the world.
Masuwe Prime Estate sits within the zone on Lot 1 of the Jafuta Estate. The designation is what allows a development of its scale to bring golf, homes, hospitality and commerce onto a single site, with an approved layout plan and phased civil infrastructure.
THE VFIFC
A financial centre in the same zone.
The Victoria Falls International Financial Services Centre (VFIFC) — a regional multi-currency financial hub — is being established within the Masuwe Special Economic Zone. The estate is not near it; it shares the zone with it.
Alongside it, the estate plans 155,111 m² of commercial land for offices, retail and financial services, and a 19-hectare university campus for hospitality and financial services training.
